Privacy Policy
We believe you should know exactly what we collect and what we do with it. This policy covers two areas: the identity information tied to your account, and the spatial data you create or upload while using Rillium Maps.
Your Identity & Account
- What we collect. Your email address when you register, accept an invitation, or contact us. If you sign in with Google, we also receive your name and profile picture directly from Google. We never see your Google password.
- How we use it. Solely to authenticate your account and communicate with you when needed, such as sending a verification code or responding to a support request. We do not use your email for marketing without your consent.
- Your rights. You may request access to or deletion of your account information at any time by contacting us. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except as required by law.
Your Map & Spatial Data
- Ownership. All maps, feature layers, geometries, and attributes you create or import belong to you and your organization. We store this data only to provide the service.
- No secondary use. We do not analyze your spatial data for advertising, sell it, or share it with third parties for any purpose beyond operating the platform on your behalf.
- Deletion. You can remove your data at any time through the application. When an organization is deleted, all associated maps and spatial data are permanently removed from our active systems.
Backups & Retention
- System backups. Your organizational data is included in encrypted system-level backups that exist solely for disaster recovery purposes. Rillium staff do not access backup data for any other reason.
- Retention window. Backups are retained for 14 days and then permanently deleted on a rolling basis.
- After deletion. When you delete your organization or data, it is removed from active production systems immediately. It may persist in backups for up to 14 days before rotating out of the backup window.
Security & Changes
- Security. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
- Policy updates. We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated policy here with a revised effective date.
